Then, adjust the height by pulling the lever and pushing the tabletop down or lifting it up to the desired height before releasing the lever to lock it. To tilt the tabletop, turn the adjustment knob counter-clockwise to loosen it, tilt the surface to the desired angle, and then turn the knob clockwise to tighten it. 

Adjusting the Height

Position the table: Roll the table over the bed using the casters.

Locate the height lever: Find the trip or adjustment lever on the column or base of the table.

Lift or lower the table: Pull or squeeze the lever upward, and then either push down on the tabletop (for lowering) or apply slight upward pressure (for raising) to the desired height. Do not press on the end of the table opposite the column.

Lock the height: Release the lever; the column will lock into the set position. 

Tilting the Tabletop

Find the tilt knob: Look for a knob or a specific tilt lever near the tabletop.

Loosen the knob: Turn the knob counter-clockwise to loosen it.

Set the angle: Tilt the tabletop to the desired angle.

Tighten the knob: Turn the knob clockwise to secure the tabletop in its new position. 

Important Considerations

Safety:

Be careful not to apply pressure to the end of the tabletop opposite the column when adjusting the height. 

Stability:

Ensure the table is securely locked at the desired height before placing items on it. 

Mobility:

Some tables have a U-shaped base that allows them to be positioned closer to a chair or wheelchair.
