How It Works

The concentrator functions using Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology. It uses zeolite minerals to adsorb nitrogen from the air at high pressure, allowing oxygen and other gases to pass through. When the pressure is released, the nitrogen is desorbed, and the process repeats to provide a continuous supply of oxygen. 

High Pressure 20 Liter Psa Oxygen Concentrator/20L Oxygen ...To use a high-pressure oxygen concentrator, first, ensure the humidifier bottle is attached with distilled water if prescribed, then plug it into an outlet, turn on the machine, and adjust the flow meter to your doctor's specified rate. Connect your nasal cannula or mask to the machine. For safety, have an emergency oxygen source like a tank and never smoke near the device. 

Before Use

Check Power Source: Plug the concentrator into an electrical outlet.

Humidifier Bottle: If your doctor prescribed it, fill the humidifier bottle with distilled water and attach it to the oxygen outlet.

Remove Fixed Bolts (First-Time Use): If it's your first time using the machine, remove any fixed bolts from the bottom using the provided tool. 

Setting Up and Using the Machine

Attach Tubing: Connect the nasal cannula or oxygen mask to the outlet nipple on the humidifier bottle.

Turn On: Flip the on/off switch to the "on" position.

Adjust Flow Rate: Rotate the flow control knob to match your prescribed oxygen rate in liters per minute (LPM).

Fit Delivery Device: Place the nasal cannula in your nostrils or the mask over your face and adjust the straps for a comfortable fit.

Confirm Operation: The device may make an alarm sound until it reaches the proper pressure. You should also be able to see the ball in the flow meter centered on the correct liter flow line. 

Safety & Maintenance

Emergency Backup:

Always have an alternative oxygen supply, like an oxygen cylinder, in case of power failure. 

No Smoking:

Never smoke while using the oxygen concentrator. 

Cleaning:

Regularly clean the humidifier bottle (every three days) and the nasal cannula or mask (weekly) with mild dish soap and warm water, and air dry them. 

Filter Maintenance:

Clean the machine's air intake filter once a month or more as directed by the manufacturer.
