What is a KN95 masks? The KN95 face mask (commonly misspelled K95 masks) is a light weight and comfortable respirator mask with ear loops and an adjustable nosepiece for secure fit and seal. KN95 masks are used in a variety of industries such as food processing, medical, hospitals, general manufacturing, heavy infrastructure, mining, oil & gas, and transportation.

A KN95 is a particulate-filtering respirator mask that meets Chinese standards for filtration efficacy. Like N95 masks, a KN95 mask is designed to filter at least 95% of airborne particles.

How to use a KN95 mask properly

Check the fit: The mask should fit snugly to your face with no gaps. A metal nose clip can be adjusted to conform to the shape of your nose and help form a tight seal.

Handle with care: Only touch the ear loops when putting on or removing the mask to avoid contaminating it. Wash or sanitize your hands before and after handling.

Reuse and storage: A KN95 mask can be reused a few times by the same person if properly cared for. Store a used mask in a breathable container, like a paper bag, and do not wash it.

Discard the mask: Replace the mask if it becomes soiled, wet, damaged, or no longer fits securely.
